Bio:
Jerry Bowman is a Director of Mime and Mask Performance
and has worked as a teaching artist for the past 12
years in Chicago, Atlanta, and Chattanooga. Jerry specializes
in teaching improvisational acting and mime and is a
founding member of Skwalking Heads Productions.
Residencies and Programs
The Ball, Rope and Wall (K-12)
Students will learn the history of pantomime and the
“ball, rope and wall” techniques of pantomime.
This residency includes a demonstration performance
at session end.
Residencies can last 3 days or longer.
Improvisation Residencies ;Team Building and Active
Listening (5-12)
Students will learn listening and cooperation skills
through the basic rules of improvisation as it relates
to positive life success skills through the use of theatrical
games and improvisational scenes.
Touring Performances
The Classic Mime Show (K-12)
This high paced touring production introduces students
to the art forms of pantomime, mask work and movement.

Magic and Mayhem (K-12)
This collaborative touring production incorporates the
art forms of magic, illusion, pantomime, mask-work,
and movement. Study Guides provided.
